Please stop advertising and sharing Serbia's secrets. The influx of foreigners has made it unaffordable for the locals. Our pay doesn't match yours. A $400 to $500 dollars a month salary pretty much just covers the apartment. Don't share how easy it is to rent and the differences on how renting in the US differs from renting in Serbia. Invariably the serbs will then catch on to the same model. And what's worse foreigners keep buying up our properties to rent out as one night stays. Please make videos on something else. Muchas Gracias. Puno hvala. Thanks.

Depend how big is your apartment...mean in square m? Price like 600€ is some little bit higher, but nothing too much. Problems with big prices of renting flats and houses, started, moustly, with war in Ukraina, and coming Russian, Ukrainian people in Bg...most of them are richer persons, famillys then Serbians. They didn't ask for price, just rent😊

Ours is about 40m2 now. Yes the influx of foreigners with higher acquisition has def be a big impact. Seems like a new wave is coming based on what we have been seeing on Facebook groups. Let's hope the housing prices don't go higher. Thank you!

No. Doubt. It's wild how much easier it is outside of the US. But New York is even next level difficult. The prices are up for sure in Belgrade and Serbia. We know what you mean by having pets and how it changes. We often just want a couch and bed that we know. Great and relatable video, y'all.

We have awesome caves in Serbia, you can never go wrong if you are passing by one. And may i suggest if you like to travel so much, Italy is only 4 h away and north Italy is just insanely beautiful, you cant even imagine if you never went with a car, every random little lake is gorgeous, mountains are like paintings, nature overall is just unmatched, and im the guy who liked Serbia the most before i visited Italy. Even little towns have amazing roads and every garden is well maintained, oh yea, and food is actually cheaper than in Serbia! Crazy to think that given how poor we are compared to them, but its absolutely true, its a little bit cheaper, not much and not everything, but things like canned tomatoes or beans are 2X cheaper, olive oil and vinegar are something crazy, like 5X cheaper... But those are only the perks, the main reason for this trip is natural scenery. Have fun!

Its "easy" for you but in realty is hard for avereg Serb to got his place, dont got me wrong or see me as hater but Serbian money is way low than yours...Here people rent apartment all life and thay will never got job to actualy buy one ...Rent for you is 600 euros and its nothing special but 50% or more people in Belgrade work whole mounth for that money or low that that, people are here proud and dont show that becose here is shame to be poor ...Ask some random grandmother on the street how money got to survive mounth, dont be supriced if she say 150 euros...Everything is easy when you got money but here 80% of country make 8000 euros a YEAR !

Absolutely agree with you 100%! We don't want to overlook the struggles that people face, and we love that you share your point of view and reality in Serbia. That is why we understand and agree that prices for foreigners might be higher than for locals. Salaries in Serbia aren't up accordingly with the standard prices, especially in Belgrade, where eating in a restaurant costs almost as much as if you eat in Spain (I, Maria, am from Spain, reason why I use it as reference, minimum salary in Spain is 15k euros annually). Thank you again for sharing this info and valuable aspect.

Hi. Looks like new complex in Visnjica, just out of Karaburma. If you pay 600 monthly, it's about that... It's new, looks really nice, might be that you could have negotiate for a bit less. Now, it is net price, you still paying for electricity, info stan ( heating ) and internet on a top ? If you've rented flat like this one at Waterfront, it would be double . At least. And, yet , you still see Danube from your balcony ! Good job, actually.
