If you search out areas where you can access the Peace River, it produces shark teeth and Megs for many who give it a good honest try with sifting. Also creeks up west of Jacksonville. And Many shark in the Venice beach area and tributaries. Many teeth are found right on the beach. Hope this helps a little.

Isn't the second one an extinct mako, Isurus hastalis?

It's actually a lower GW. Great White shark teeth have serrations, makos do not. Good try though!

After researching, based on this tooth size, the shark would have been 19-23 feet long!

@@MrMakoMeCrazy the largest white shark tooth was 3.8in long in slant length and 2.9in wide at the neck found in the Chile deposit from a 20ft female 10000 years ago and just for comparison the largest megalodon tooth has a neck width of 4.7in now that's crazy.

They’re not gonna tell you because they’re trespassing. Plus since they’ve gone through all the sift-able gravel they have proceeded to cave in the creek walls. Real stand up guys!!

Why would anyone tell the public where they have found fossil shark teeth producing areas. That would be like telling the public where your best deer hunting spots are.😆
