And it was a lovely visit and we came home with a nice selection of choice candies, but didn't see the bark or the chocolate covered caramels! We'll have to stop back in next time we're in the area and look harder. She is a happy camper and I'm a new subscriber.

When cutting the caramel after the first set of cuts why don't you put a couple stacked on top of each other in the miter box to cut into the skinny sizes? If sticking is an issue can you put a sheet of parchment paper in between the single square cuts? I would think this would save a step.

Love the videos I'm from the UK. Just wondering..starburst chewy sweets in the UK were called opal fruits originally..I was wondering if in the USA they had them in the 60s 70s ? Also I think there was a spearmint version called pacers ..they had the same soft chewy texture like starbust but spearmint they were amazing and everyone who remembers them would love them back ! Could a spearmint flavour starburst shape and texture be made ? I'd love them and would sell in huge numbers x
