Right?! A guy friend of mine and I were out one night at a sports bar and I got super sick out of nowhere (no alcohol involved, just a new kind of hot wing). Ran into the bathroom past a group of drunk girls at the bar. They followed me in, cleared the room, one followed me into the stall and braided my hair back for me, another went and got me a Sprite and made them toast some bread for me, and another procured a still-sealed toothbrush and toothpaste for me (presumably directly from heaven, from where she had been sent.) They got me cleaned up, fixed my makeup, made me eat my toast and sip my Sprite in the little anteroom outside the bathroom to make sure I could hold something down, made sure I had a ride, and got me in the car my friend pulled around to the front for me (which they told him to do.) He was like “who were they?!” And did not believe they were girls I had never met in my life and probably, 10 years later, couldn’t pick out of a lineup. The sisterhood is strong.

@OoooshetriesSs
2 жыл бұрын
Im unemployed until the ‘health care unit’ commences … THEN I’m a medic…whether it’s my unit or a call in … “DOES BECKY HAVE ANY ALLERGIES?!?! “Is ur Girl on ANY MEDICATIONS?!” “NAH! Don’t worry Sweetheart! We got GLENDA at the door… NO ONES COMING IN!!!” Holy Shit that reminds me!!! LADIES!!!! I know medications can be a difficult thing to talk about/confide in someone but, PLZ… CHECK IN W/UR GIRLS/GUYS; whoever ur going out with BEFORE u go out!!! Like AS ur PREGAMING ; u can make it very light; just “AY HEADS UP IF UR ON MEDICATIONS THAT CAN INTERACT POORLY; TELL UR BUDDY” Yall don’t have to get in the nitty gritty but: general /safety questions before going out… the “RUN DOWN” if u will 1) IS ANYBODY ON ANY ANTIBIOTICS?! Or Medications Or does ANYONE have any ALLERGIES!?!? (This can be an awkward thing to bring up but why someone takes them DOESNT matter… it’s about their safety, it’s why it’s good to pair in allergies questions w/it. Those usually can & will interact poorly w/alcohol. (Antibiotics can make u violently ill … ) or someone may only take 💊 when needed & could have completely forgotten .. Like I said… WHY they take it doesn’t matter… But the AMOUNT of times I’ve had to call 911 4 someone whose NOT even in my group NOT because of drugs, but they didn’t realize their medications counteracted… (anything from anxiety meds, antibiotics even blood thinners I think) Then 2 different girls had a peanut allergy..(how they got exposed to that via drinks…I do not know… but as someone whose tend bar… they can be shady ) Remember , If something happens to ur friend & their incapacitated ; medics will ask u before proceeding …they may not be able to give them certain things OR may need to give them something to counter act but won’t w/o the proper info because they CANT risk it… Which leads me to 2 2) EVERYONE GETS A BUDDY!!! Specially if it’s a bigger group.… It’s great to all look out for 1 another but, having a specific buddy ur assigned while going out helps everyone work together in a way. This also comes in hands for #1 too… ur not comfortable disclosing to the whole group… u have ur buddy that has ur safety info god forbid. 3) your “IF ALL FAILS MEET UP” This is great if ur going to somewhere newer..we all have been there where some split off & u can’t get ahold of them cause they lost their phone OR their phone died… Pick a spot that’s easy to for everyone to find where u ALL can meet at a certain time Incase “IF ALL FAILS” **May I add… if ur going somewhere where it can be new or hectic & it’s primarily u & ur ladies… it really NOT a bad idea to pick 2 times in the nite where u all meet there to check in & make sure everyone’s okay… (Group A. MAY be having a great time… but Group B. Has already noticed some fuckery going on & keep having “REALLY strong drinks” pushed onto them left & right (Yeah 📱 check ins can work… unless some douche bag is right in front of ur friend & being ‘that aggressive douche bag’ who feels the need to answer for them/try & take their phone) **it’s great we have our phones to rely on.. but SHIT HAPPENS… be sure u & yours are good regardless…phones fail but ur true friends wont** 4) if ur going to do… *things*…particularly FESTIVAL type things (not only do ALL rules apply 10 fold + set & setting… GATORADE!!!… NOT water… Some water yes but… SOOO many ppl here overdo it under those circumstances & end up drowning out all their salt$ potassium which triggers seizures & 💀 d3ath. Gatorade WILL replenish you… (that & pedilite) EVERY YEAR here in Miami at Ultra& even in the clubs.. myself & my friends who are actual EMTS/fire & rescue say this is what they see more than anything.. Sadly now it’s that & fentanyl:/ Which is WHY NEVER take anything that’s offered… (their skipping fent into EVERYTHING!!) drinks/joints… 1 guy by hitting another’s vape :/ 🤦🏼♀️ was hardly 19…. Never a bad call to have someone in ur group who isn’t partaking in the “ Extracurricular festivities” I know that’s ALOT/but these small things to keep in mind can REALLY make all the difference in u & ur friends nite as well as ur safety…💖 I really don’t go out much anymore but; if u & ur girlfriends are coming to Miami & are unsure of the area ur staying in & would care for a locals perspective; I have the same name on IG as here on YT… Any info I can offer to ensure yall are safe & enjoy ur trip, got u … ngl I get some WEIRD DMS 😂😭 & it may take me a few days to get it, but I’m always available when it comes to safety for the ladies💖 💖🤜🏻🤛🏼🤜🏻🤛🏽🤜🏻🤛🏿💖 ♥️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️💖 (I’m personally LGBTQ+ & on the spectrum so… I know how important it is to feel safe somewhere) Love u Ladies!!!💖 stay safe! & have fun:) Sorry for the Novel but I hope the heads up work for y’all as well as they’ve worked for us :)

I think the contrary. Girls often are not there for each other. Of course i'm not talking about friends, we know girls are more preoccupied about their friends in "bad" situations. But i don't think girls are helping strangers a lot when it comes to "benign" little things. Obviously girls will have each other's back when it comes to menstruations for exemple because it's a universal problem that makes every girl connect on a certain level. I always thought guys helped each other more in everyday situations. Being a man, of course i'm a little biased but i try to see both sides of the medal. I even asked my mom to soldify my thoughts and she agreed with me.

We help each other out because we know how embarrassing it is to have blood go through your pants and we help each other to protect people from people like you. No one has to be disgusted. It’s normal for women and instead of it being gross, we should get comforted and people helping us because men don’t go through this and they think it’s funny to have periods, but it’s not.
