Different phrasing, more politics, but otherwise the same nonsense. Some things never change.* Interestingly, from literature and movies, it was very similar before WWII, during the mostly capitalist market economy. However, there were exceptions, a big employer Bata (shoes, today owns brands like North Star, Power, Ambassador) had different approach and tried to run a company while not angering the workers. However he was born into a family of working class cobblers, he was formerly a working class man who built a company from nothing in 30 years and knew the life on the factory floor. *For example you couldn't be in certain positions if you weren't a party member. My father was a skilled surgeon and the hospital wanted him to be the deputy to the chief of surgery, which was a position only for party members, but he refused to joint the party. Ahhh! Another thing I can comment on! For context, I used to work in a third-party Amazon warehouse. I commented on another video about my experiences with that. But this is something else I can relate to as well. I didn't operate forklifts, but the warehouse I worked in had no HVAC. The only heating we had in the winter were these sunflower style heaters that you'd pop on propane tanks. The boss would conveniently "forget" to refill them and we often had to pool together money AND leave work (clocked out no less!) to get them refilled so we could, you know, not freeze to death? For reference it was commonly below freezing in the warehouse in the winter. I remember one day my boss came out of his heated office and was all "wow it doesn't feel too bad up here, this says it's 40 degrees!" Really? Your thermometer says 40 degrees? Then we must be in a thermodynamic anomaly, the laws of physics must cease to exist on this warehouse floor, because I'm staring at frozen water on the floor RIGHT NOW. What's really funny is, the guy had a HUGE propane tank with a massive heater. It was person sized and was designed to warm a very large area. You know what that one was used for? The shipping label printer. If it got too cold it just wouldn't work. This man bought an expensive heater, SOLELY to warm a printer. If any of us used it, we got in trouble. I remember one time my coworker was warming her hands with a hair dryer (we used them to remove stickers from inventory), and she got yelled at about the "electric bill".

Except they will not show up. Too much bribery to get them to show up. Then the person that made the "anonymous" call is let go from their job for something no other worker saw them do.
