Virtual Community Choir for Loughborough for VE Day
All Saints with Holy Trinity invited the people of Loughborough to record 'We'll meet again,' as part of a virtual choir for VE Day. With the help and support of Emma Trounson, Director of Mission through Music at the church, a backing track and tutorial video were sent round and over 50 local people responded. The choir is made up of local people from 8 - 80 and with all sorts of singing abilities and backgrounds.
Revd Wendy Dalrymple, Rector of All Saints, said: "Music is such a great way to lift people's spirits and help us stay connected. Emma has been working hard on running choir rehearsals and producing music for our Sunday services but we wanted to do something for the whole communtiy too. We hope everyone will enjoy singing along and seeing some familiar faces from our town."
