I cut pvc pcs from gray elec conduit the right size for the pipe on the endwalls, then cut pcs out of those pcs to make clips. I would install them in the winter to keep airflow down to a minimum. It took about 4 on the rollup area.

This is a variation on an old camping trick. Put a rock, stick, battery or just about anything firm under to tie around. We suspend dining flys, wind breaks, and even rain water collectors from it. It's another good adaptation. You can substitute this for a grommet when covering a load in your truck or trailer, too.

Petals on the Paving Slabs it's easier to tie a string to the ball throw the ball over tie the other end of the string to the edge of the plastic it's probably pretty hard to throw a ball with the plastic attached

From what I have been told and have seen most greenhouses have black plastic as the floor to prevent weeds and to give a nice appearance as a walkway. The mulch like in a flower bed will not stay in place and will allow more weeds then the black plastic.

I haven't read ALL of the replies but regarding the roll up sides, I used vertical pvc pipe on the ends with pvc snap clamps to close the gap. Also when rolling up the side I found it is better to roll it up in the reverse order in which you show in the video to prevent rain water from collecting in the roll.

Only if you are planning on putting an exhaust fan on the opposite wall. I will have both fans and roll up curtains on the next one that I am building. The one that I have with the lettuce in it (soon to be known as the lettuce house) does not have side curtains and wont need it since I do not need pollinators in there but I will put curtains in all 3 of the new ones that I am building. You are in Missouri so you get plenty of wind / breeze there so side curtains may be enough. If you find it hard to keep the temps below 100 for most of the day during the heat of summer them I would put in an exhaust fan and shutters. The higher you put the exhaust fan the better and the lower you put the shutters the same. Cooler air is always near the ground. Hope that help? What part of Missouri are you in? I used to live near St Louis. Chuck

The center of your greenhouse will be the warmest in the middle of winter. Mine is insulated, polycarbonate with shrink film on the south, east and west with bubble insulation on the north wall and roof, I have to vent on the coldest of days if the sun is shining brightly, so keep a close eye on the temps once you get plants in there. Maybe make tables with water barrels painted black in the center for growing plants, fans are a must as well as thermometers. An electrical friend gifted us a wifi thermostat that he wired up with plugs so that I can switch on the fan or heat as needed since I have some tropicals and its only a very small 6'x12' greenhouse. But I manage to keep us in salad greens, herbs, and my tropical plants live in there in the winter. I can't eat tomatoes any more but I did find that grape tomatoes grew all winter even without it being heated, just 1 heat sin, but wow was that nice to add to salads in the winter! Head lettuce did well too and a few leaves before it even beings to head made a large family size salad. Best wishes!

I should have said that the head lettuce had vibrant green leaves that we ate, and rarely ever got to the "head" because of picking off the outer leaves all winter.

We use hoops, made of cattle panels, wrapped in chicken wire, for our chickens. I always get some hay twine and a mayonnaise jar full of water...wrap the hay twine around and around the neck of the jar and tie firmly. The other end of the hay twine goes through a grommet hole on a tarp or I bunch the plastic corner up and tie the twine around it. Then toss the jar up and over the top. Easy peasy. I've also learned that bungie cords in various lengths are great to hold a tarp in place. I am 74 and can put a tarp or plastic over by myself if the wind is cooperative. One year I decided to have a greenhouse, made the same way. It was awesome. I put the plastic, two layers, on before our first frost. We enjoyed beautiful tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, broccoli. Then in early March an ice storm collapsed my play house. I learned a lot, and this is the year I will try it again. God willing!

Might consider an automatic louvered vent at each end ... You can adjust the opening and closing temperatures on some ... Others have a nonadjustable set range ... Also ... Many people have mold and fungus problems using overhead watering systems ... However if you run a pipe top center and half way up both sides you can tap in with drip irrigation and soakers really neat and easy ... Down the road you could even put on a rain water catchment ...
