Interesting. At the high school I worked at for 17 years, that spear would be considered a weapon and get the owner a years mandatory suspension. No kidding. A kid had a pocket knife in his bivwack sack for an ROTC campout that was happening after school on a Friday and he was suspended for a year. No kidding. It's crazy how things have gotten.

Yeah we were concerned about that so we had them keep it in the office for the day until his class, then had a teacher escort him with it to the classroom. Fortunately, all went well!
