As we approached Bermuda, the forecast was undecided whether we were going have a complete calm or a storm front come through. As it turns out, it was the later. Knowing how the forecast was scheduled to build, we decide it was worth pushing hard to get to St George's and safely at anchor before the worst of the weather struck.
Based on reports from boats that arrived after us, we most certainly made the right choice…
So we made it to Bermuda! Then it was time to tally up the butchers bill and do a run down of everything that had broken or failed on the way… I think it would have been quicker to say what WASN’T leaking when we arrived!
