Well done guys! That's a brilliant idea. This is exactly how the car looks according to the current ideas of the European Commission. Only such cars will be soon able to drive in Europe. But in order to comply with the Euro 7 standard, it will have to be probably pedal powered. If you will mass produce this, no European carfactory will does not have the slightest chance.

You should make a project where you make the longest car in the world, 1 engine with 5 transmissions/gearboxes. You can then have multiple people riding and changing gears and the same time.

@@Universal.GStill needs enough torque to move. I doubt a Lada engine would have enough power to even move that much drivetrain let alone the cars. It would just stall every time you engaged the clutch. (remember, there are literally teams of horses that have had more power than a Lada engine... note that I am talking like 20 horses, like you would see on occasion) Also then you have the problem of gear reduction inside of gear reduction inside of... which would, assuming it actually works, to possibly moving as slow as the hour hand on a clock.

Need some off-road tires, than it'll really go! XD I love the reactions when people see the things you guys build! Shades of the guy that broke an axle on his 2CV out in the middle of nowhere and built a motorcycle from the parts! It won't rust out (aside from the wires holding the logs together) But you have to watch out for carpenter-ants! Maybe some big leaves for fenders? They'd only last a day though...

That's amazing! It'd be neat to fully test that "frame flex" in an offroading scenario. For example, I love to offroad in my Jeep's and Trucks, and my favorite thing is to flex it out so far that a tire comes off the ground. It just looks cool but it aids in offroading because the more tires you can have on the ground at a given time, the more traction you have and therefore able to push across obstacles. So, on that, even though it doesn't have suspension, the frame flex could allow you to offroad a bit and flex it out. You just need to get some weight over that rear axle.
