this unit has has a more powerful processor than the other budget modelers of today. conversion rate of 32/48 as opposed to 24/44.1... plus the ability to add your own IRs make this unit the best value out there by far.
@TaylorDanley

Yes that's true, but you also have to consider the fx and amp selection is limited which may be a bummer for some people
@mattgilbert7347
4 жыл бұрын
@@TaylorDanley It'd do for a practice/jam tool or a grab 'n go DI rig. I prefer individual stompboxes into my preamp & IR loader (or the GFI CabZeus I've recently acquired) for going direct, but sometimes that's a hassle. Ofc ideally I prefer real amps and real pedals..but we live in horrible times where that is not always possible. These units always seem to have glitches with the expression pedal! My buddy's old Boss ME-25 is a case in point. We can't get it into pitch shifting mode no matter what we do.

Been plowing through budget multi-effects pedals for a couple of months and among the pedals that get the most love is the MG-300. From what I have gathered, the Valeton GP-100, because it has a stomp mode and a preset mode, is the only pedal that has the capability to toggle effects on and off in a preset on the fly. Am I correct that the MG-300 does not have this feature?
@zampination

You can use some effects on the expression pedal by pressing it once on the top of it. It will turn on or off the effect of delay for example or the reverb but I'm not sure that it can for example engage a boost pedal with that function. You could assign the expression pedal for the reverb and when hitting it once on the top it can become a delay. But don't take my word for it. My unit arrives tomorrow
