I agree. There is a small chance Suiter really was murdered to be silenced but it seems likely he killed himself (maybe so his wife would get the death benefits too) and the death of this innocent old man driver was definitely their fault (the cops, including even Suiter).

They need to make a show like this with Chicago PD. Maybe not based on a true story but there are so many CPD officers that do gangster shit like this. I’ve seen it. Doesn’t speak for all of CPD because I have cousins who are Chicago police in Englewood and Chatham which are two of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the city. They don’t call it Chiraq for nothing even though I hate that name. It’s like living in a GTA game at this point. We are on track to having our 100 shootings a weekend real soon. Part of the problem is that they might have been honest in not knowing that the people running up on them were actually cops. They might have been looking down, look up, and suddenly guys with guns jump out of their car yelling and pointing guns at you. It's Baltimore... so there's no guarantee they are police, and when people panic, they aren't necessarily processing all of the information around them (such as flashing lights). It also doesn't help that there are multiple cases of people using those types of lights on unmarked cars who turn out not to be police, which is why police generally don't use those types of cars without having a marked unit somewhere in the vicinity to assist with stops and arrests.

Well if you hear dispatch they told him to break off the chase. They got the tag and can find the car later. I’m assuming they are in an area where there could be risks of civilians getting hurt. He continued the chase leading to exactly what dispatch was trying to avoid. Sure he shouldn’t have drove off first but the cops duty to civilian safety should be a higher priority than getting a case.
