There isn't one in the Netherlands. I don't know if people here will pay for this, because table tennis isn't a big sport here. Padel is now hot here. Also inside. I still hope table tennis will someday win in popularity here.

Was a privilege to be able to go to see the opening in person, amazing facility and very cool idea with the replay systems/high tech scoring screens. Feel honoured to have the one point I won shown as well and to witness your incredible match against Pitchford.

It would be good if local councils invested in these?
@Wally-H
11 ай бұрын
Local councils are broke, many are literally going bust. The chances of them investing in stuff like this is zero I'm afraid. What it needs are some entrepreneurs who know a bit about the game to see the possibilities. I'm sure if you plonked one of these in major urban areas such as Manchester, Birmingham, London etc. they would do very well.

Hope I'm wrong, but if you're reading this in October 2025, PingPod has likely already gone bankrupt and shut down after exhausting their seed capital. The cost of playing at a PP facility is way too high for the average person and the sport will never be popular enough in the US and the UK to drive the foot traffic that's needed to be profitable. Now, if they made it a pickleball facility, they'd have a chance at survival.
