This was done back in year of 2014 so don't get confused. They bought the property on Feb 2014 and sold on June 2014 for $430K "$373,300 in the hole" is just fishing phrase for viewers. $56K in 4 months

First of all, no, they aren't $373k in the hole. It's an investment that will go up in value. This might be the very first time I've seen Christina choose something other than gray. The beige and green suit the style of the house better than gray would have. This actually would make a great rental and would be perfect for a single person or a couple without kids. This would appeal to those who would like to live in a nice neighborhood, but don't need a big house. They'd make their money back in a few years.

Flip or flop is the title they have to have some flops plus if they have a flop their tax bill goes down they claim it on taxi massive tax bill paying $0.50 to the dollar in every flip profit a flat will bring their tax down and also if it's if it's such a flop just rent the damn thing out and keep it

I wouldn't think the price would stop anyone. It is just an ASKING price. It could change at any time. If a person likes the property, they just put in an offer. Doesn't have to be near asking price. Lots of variables in real estate.

Yes, but 2 bedrooms is small when the other houses are all 3 bedrooms. On my block all the houses are 4 or 5 bedrooms. So if they try to sell a 3 bedroom for the same as a 5 bedroom, it will be a slow day. And if they sell a 2 bedroom, well it’s gonna be a super slow day, unless it’s priced much less or someone likes the lot and is willing to knock it down and start all over.

The lowest price for a 2 bedroom, 1 bath house in Downey right now is $569,000. That's a 700 sq foot house. This video is very old. Southern California prices have always been high. They are much higher now.

This episode is 8 years old. The market was completely different then. Prices were still depressed from the 2008 crash and big increases hadn’t started yet. And they were still married. Nice try posting an 8 year old video in 2022 and trying to make it seem relevant.

Every renovation they do is the same same same. That busy concrete tile, of course gray or black and geometric pattern. Same, tear down the walls, make it a warehouse for furniture, not a cozy home. Same combo cabinets, same huge island, same same same. I really liked the show but it was always same ole stuff.

BIG SLIDER a MISTAKE... BIG DRIVEWAY - thus moving water main... MISTAKE... FANCY FINISHES, tile, cabinets etc MISTAKE... RE-PAINTING entire exterior MISTAKE.... all mistakes considering they knew it was a 2 bedroom house, iffy in that market. 2 bedroom houses, you have to get in and out quick with little investment and little return, or LOSE BIG, as they did.

@@angelbulldog4934 one colour throughout a all house is gonna get tiring very quickly for sure, whatever the colour. but beige was such a trend a few years ago that to have it everywhere makes it look even more dated. A house looks better with a colour scheme but variation is the key in my opinion.

@@melaniebruchard3226 I agree that there needs to be more than one color. I prefer dad the color in the things that are easier to change, like pillows and rugs. Beige is a warm color and gray is a cold color. I prefer warm colors, but we're all different. I can at least say I have tried both, so I know which one I like better.
