Get over it mate, Labour is actually completely different. They actually seem to be wanting to do what's best for the country, and not for themselves, already after three days lol. Yeah it's true. Labour got the same vote share in 2019. The Tory vote was split and 15% of the total vote went to reform. Reform didn't really win seats due to FPTP but they were the 3rd party in terms of total votes. The main reason is because the working class protectionist attitudes towards immigration has been ignored again. The Tories won because of Brexit, they kept power because of it and lost because migration has gone up massively in the last few years. Labour hasn't made any gains, Tories just lost confidence

The City fan out of joy because their team won, the United fan because their team lost. What you have said here is like the City fan saying that the United fan is crying because he is so happy that a horrible club like United lost and a great club like City won. Basically, try and put yourself in the shoes of people who ACTUALLY have voted Conservative in the past. I am such a person and I can tell you I didn't vote for them this time because of the very reason Mogg alluded to. They decided to vote for demagogues worse than those that were in power until today, people who support policies crazier and even more dysfunctional than the conservatives ever did.
