China is one of the countries that is modern and developed, yet still so enmeshed with its ancient culture. They have clothes, food, books, habits, traditions that are hundreds or thousands of years old that every Chinese person still practises till this day, the same way it was done when it first started thousands of years ago. Eg moon cake festival, dragon boat festival etc.

@unazheng3392
19 күн бұрын
@@our-travel-journal No, don’t buy anything in the tourist area, even if it’s close to the freshwater lake. The price difference between farmed and wild-caught fish can be up to five times, so you might think you’re getting wild fish, but it could actually be farmed. I wouldn’t recommend it. But there are some local farmhouses around Dianshan Lake where you can get the freshest catch straight from the lake, and it’s much cheaper than in the ancient town.

@@our-travel-journal Yes, twice to India, most up in the North and Mumbai areas. History of India is like the Bible, there are a lot stories, myth, assuming and some recorded facts. India lost a lot of historical facts under the near 200 years of the British Empire. Even today, India still have many disputable claims on many issues. From my experience there. I think Indians are too judgemental and too nationalist.
