Hey all, welcome to Episode 9 of my Indigo Disk LP! We're (FINALLY) gonna see what the namesake of the DLC is all about, as we head to an even deeper part of Area Zero! INTRIGUE!! As I'm typing this, I've already got Episodes 10 and 11 recorded and I just need to edit them now, so, depending on how things go, Episode 10 should either be up tomorrow or Sunday, and 11 will likely just be up the next day after 10 goes up. There probably won't be too many more episodes of this LP after this, since I don't wanna do ABSOLUTELY everything on-screen, but there's definitely a few things I still wanna include/get my reactions to before I wrap things up. At any rate, I hope everyone's Friday is going alright! Also, DRINK WATER

Love how Terapagos' cry is based on some of the terastalization sound effects

Yeah! Makes total sense for the Terastalization sound to basically be Terapagos's cry if it's essentially the Terastal Phenomenon equivalent to Eternatus for Dynamax Energy in Galar.

Indigo Disk Episode 9 comments: - Actually, Kieran, the kinds of movies I was thinking about in this place were kaiju movies. Are you familiar with the "Hollow Earth" theory that serves as the backbone for some kaiju movies (and "Journey to the Center of the Earth," for that matter?) That's what Area Zero makes me think of. - QOTD: I want both Mega Evolution and Z-moves to come back. They were fun to use on Showdown (and still are in National Dex, which is 99% of what I play now). It makes sense for Dynamaxing to not come back, since for story reasons it's limited to Galar, but Mega Stones and Z-crystals can easily be exported to other regions. And maybe then we can get some new Mega Evolutions and exclusive Z-moves.

Hell, they literally introduced Mega Evolution to Alola in Gen 7 via Dexio and Sina just waltzing up to you at one point and being like, "Oh hey, guess you can Mega Evolve now, LOL", so it's already something they've done before! I just want Mega Absol back in a main series game, haha.

There's a somewhat obscure entrance on the wall of the spiraling cave that you descended down, which can only be reached by gliding or climbing. The Tera Pokémon that opens up the optional path is at the end of that side path. If you listen to Terapagos's cry, you'll hear that it's actually the same sound that's heard when a Pokémon Terastallizes.

Don't worry, I actually found the entrance to the other path eventually before I started recording Episode 10, we're all good 👍

I understand you'd like to understand how Stellar Tera Type works, though I'll admit it's a bit vague on how it explain it. So, just for posterity's sake, if you want to, just click "read more" below and I'll explain from what I've gathered to be the general rundown of Stellar Type: -Unlike the usual types like Fire/Water/Electric/etc, Stellar Type is not an actual type, but more of a state of being during a battle (like Mega Evolution) -When in this state, their base defense remains the same, and they have no immunities or weaknesses -During the duration of being Stellar Type, the attacks' damage output can vary. If a move doesn't match the base type, it gets a 20% boost in power; if the move does match the base type, then like usual Terastallization, it gets a 100% boost in power(it's power is doubled). You can grind for Stellar Tera Shards once the game is complete, and change your Pokemon's Tera Type at the restaurant in Medali like you would for other Tera Types. Hope this helps. Good luck in the next one!

Stellar Tera Type doesn't change anything defensively. You still keep your same base type, weakness, immunities and resistances. The major change is that every type move you use is boosted once, so say you have a pokemon with a Fire move. If it becomes the Stellar Tera Type it gets a boost to that fire Type move, ONCE. And that's it. If it uses any fire move afterwards it does the normal damage it would do. But if say, that pokemon then does a Normal type move, that move would get a boost, once only.

Ah. Thank you@@spatialawareness5384 , Sorry for any inaccuracies. I tried to sum it up as best as I could with what knowledge I have... Still, I do appreciate the help.
