Carys, I think a lot of girls would agree with me on this but I would absolutely love and appreciate a podcast from you, talking about self-love, positivity etc. whenever you do those mini speeches it honestly lifts my spirits and reminds me how important it is to love yourself!! You’ve taught me so much 🫶🏼

I saw a post recently that reiterates what you said about asking the children their opinions on things, the post was about saying to your child "you should be really proud of yourself" instead of just saying "I'm so proud of you". I've been doing it for a while with my son and his confidence has grown so much because he's now getting the validation of his achievements from himself and not just from the opinions of others. Its amazing ❤️

I love this!! Definitely something I will start doing, don’t think we ever think it through as people always say ‘I’m so proud of you’ I think if you say it always add in they should be proud of yourself too at least! Loveee this idea of saying it instead 🥰
@shannonleech8952

100% it really does make such a difference, when you think about it.. how often do we actually feel proud of ourselves? Sometimes just getting through the day is an achievement in itself and if you can feel pride for yourself in those small moments then life must feel so much more wholesome rather than only feeling pride over the big achievements xx
@beckyaliceking

One simple switch you can do that ties in to what James was saying about wanting to make yourself proud, not just other people, is instead of saying ‘I’m so proud of you’, saying ‘you should be so proud of yourself’. I’m a coach and make sure I do this all the time with adults but the actual psychology behind it was geared towards kids (it just works for everyone haha!) 💛
@Cleanslatetoday

“Hi guys”, I absolutely love when Amber says that. I grew up as the youngest of the family and no one asking me anything but being told what to do how to do it, as an adult I couldn’t verbalize my feelings. So I’m so proud of you both that you’re wanting to check in with your kids. It’s so important. Love you guys. As far as starting a podcast, I love the idea but I absolutely love seeing your kids in the vlogs. I’ll miss them.

On the potty training, just don’t push it. That’s the only advice I have! When they’re ready then they’ll nail it pretty quickly. My 2 year old was potty trained in 2 days, because she was ready, we’d tried it a few weeks earlier and she wasn’t ready and had accidents, didn’t like using the potty out, etc. But we waited and it was so not stressful, for us and her xxx

You were in a very fortunate position to be able to walk away from Whittaker House. Many people starting a small business have to make it work as they have no choice but to. Running a business is not easy and it takes commitment. You had too many plates spinning at the time and you can only do one thing at a time. The small businesses you got involved with probably thought it would be a longer business relationship than it turned out to be so may be feeling the loss of income and let down. I wish you well for the future but just concentrate on one project at a time and see it through properly.

Hiya I just wanted to comment something I’ve been feeling about your videos for a while now. I used to love your videos however I think lately I just think it’s very showy and it’s all about how much money you have and buying houses and eating out and holidays and always buying things is a bit sad especially when there are people who are struggling atm and don’t want to see other people showing off how much they earn. I’m not being horrible and I love your family you guys are great but just spending all the time is getting a bit boring now so I’m not going to be watching anymore I’m sorry x

Toilet training - my little girl is about a week or 2 younger than Amber! She fully toilet trained in just under 2 weeks, I started making her wear knickers to feel the wetness and dirtiness and she soon didn’t like the feel of it so she became aware of the sensations to go! She started off with nothing on but being outside in and out of the pool, she started wanting to go into the pool just to wee🤣 so I took that away to focus on her toileting went cold turkey with nappies apart from her nap and sleep time. She went to nursery day 6 of potty training and had 1 little accident, day 7 same again and since then no accidents😊

I'm no to podcasts, everybody is moving to podcasts, but one, deaf people are completely missed out, two i need to watch and see people speak the words as i can't take anything in by audio alone, i need facial expressions, actions, etc to understand, three it's like chatting to and sitting with your friends. For example i would way rather video call my mum (we live in seperate countries) than just voice call, as its far more personal

Depends on the baby. I found 1 to 2 wasn’t too bad, but when I had my 3rd she was so unsettled, cried nearly all the time, never slept, was a really fussy eater and the first two were quite easy babies so I found it was the hardest. I also had 1 at nursery and one at school and don’t drive, so it was really hard, struggling up to the nursery/school etc on the bus with a screaming baby
