God bless KZitem. I went to see The Who play Tommy in its entirety at the Fillmore East right around this time. A young woman in Bill Graham's box office saw a 15-year-old's letter saying "I know this is way past sold out, but - " and wrote back with two house seat tickets. I lived on the same street as her college roommate. I'll never forget her, and to say that the concert was amazing is the understatement of a lifetime. PS the Fillmore East is now a bank...if they only knew.

I saw The Who in 81 at jfk in Philadelphia I thought they sucked. Now I understand why. Keith moon is amazing and I didn’t realize that that that element was missing. My dad worked for CBS and brought home Tommy around 1969 and I loved it. I saw The Who With my wife in Philadelphia in 2019 not expecting much and we’re freaking incredible I only paid $20 for the floor. I’m more of a fan now than I ever been. And I can’t stop watching videos with Keith Moon.
