Hey wonderful humans :) to answer your question about how I did those daily vlogs and traveled etc, basically I’ve realised I was running on part excitement, part inspiration, part coffee and a load of anxiety and fear of letting others (my audience) down. This wasn’t a sustainable recipe for me, I got burnt out and had an existential crisis, which was also a spiritual emergency and had to come to terms with my mental health, all whilst my audience were verbalising their extreme disappointment in me not delivering their free content anymore. Would love to get on a poddy with you two sometime, and I’d still love to come visit one day! Sending you all the love ♥️

Props to whoever made that intro! Maybe when you need another week's break, you could do a boat advice q&a, such as answering people's questions on boats such as "how do you plan a trip in advance?" or "what are the best places you've sailed" or "what are the things you wish you knew before buying a boat?" :)
@budroberts5929
3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, like Mimi sez, you could do a bunch of info things in lots of ways, how-to, not a huge time sink. Today's intro music was super and so was the helo overhead but the intro went on so long with NO BOAT in it I thought some new watchers might not realize it was you and mistake it for a Vrbo ad. My ideas, they're free and worth every penny.

This was your best intro ever, the sails in the sun were incredible. Some more short videos Iike this intro might be well received.

I started watching u guys about a couple of months ago. And got hooked, I live right outside of New Orleans Louisiana. You guys really inspired me. I will watch you guys no matter what. I would love to get some pointers from you guys because i never sailed before. I'm a native American Indian. Was raised on the water, on Shrimp and Oyster boats.

Okay, so the intro to this one was some of the best sarcastic humor I've seen since Monty Python. Had me cracking up before you even said anything. Awesome job!! Stay well, and keep doing what you do! We'll be here!!

Life happens and babies are a good reason to stop for a bit. Not stop…but be new and settle into your new crew ❤️ So very cool that you invite all of us along. I am living vicariously as mine are grown and now I enjoy (in a different way) my grandkids. What a fabulous time you’re going through. It’ll be quick, so I’m so happy you are documenting it. Thanks for having us. Y’all are the best in every way. Cheers from central Texas ❤️ Have to add that he’s AHHHHHHHDORABLE!!! That smile!!! {melt}

Welcome to parenthood. As a father of two (now in their 20’s) I can tell you now the early years are the easiest, enjoy them but it doesn’t get easier just different but would not change anything. Just breathe, don’t stress and be there for each other.

There is a beginning, middle and end to every story and series. TBH IMO most ppl would watch the content they uploaded years ago, and still draw in likes. Today as parents; they need to care for their children, that includes up to Secondary/High School. There is no break as a parent. And he needs to get a haircut, shave, and work full time.

I'm happy to hear y'all's mental health is at an all time high! I love seeing your beautiful family growing :D Plus I'm SO excited to see your travels around Asia. If you're taking recommendations: El Nido, Palawan, Philippines. Best coral reefs I've had the privilege of diving :D

I have no claim to having "been here since the beginning" or even for a very long time. I only became interested in sailing a year ago (thanks covid). While I certainly started watching your channel because it was a catamaran sailing channel, I keep watching because I enjoy seeing your family. You never need to explain why or apologize for not having "enough content" or "excitement" in your videos.

I’m adding a comment to help you with the algorithm. I loved this episode. I love to see little Darwin and it was great just to hear y’all’s plans. When you zoomed in on Riley’s face when you were talking about Lenny hurting himself was just hilarious!! 😂😂
