Hahaha don’t worry nothing wrong with the bike! The fuel tap was closed off on one of the fuel tanks. Double checkZ dealer supposed to do it as part of unpacking and setup but have missed this.

Hey mate, in this video both bikes have the Renthal RC High Bend. Will solve the height and sweep issue. I have recently swapped again to a lower bend, ODI RC4 with same sweep. I have also added a steering stabiliser which adds some height.

@@TheMotoBarista - I wonder if the fuel tank moulding residue had been cleaned out before delivery? It was a known issue with the earlier models (not sure what year your dads machine is) and dealers were "supposed" to clean the tanks out prior to delivery. Some did not (ask me how I know!) and the fuel pump filter gets blocked up with the crap and the bike won't run. Easy fix and the fuel pump is really easy to get to compared to some bikes.

@@mosa4688 so just heard back from the dealer, turns out the secondary fuel tank valve was closed and so the bike wasn’t getting fuel from it. Should have been checked and opened by the dealer during delivery inspection and handover. 🤦♂️

someone has customized his bike more than what he has shown us!! :p Are you considering the rebel x or rad garage fairing?
@TheMotoBarista

Haha yeh, a few things here and there. Biggest thing has been the rear sprocket for better low end pick up off-road and the Mosko bags. Lots of little things here and there. I thought about the fairing changes but I think I will stick with the oem. Happy with looks and performance.

Hey mate we started further north in Jarrahdale, entered the forest towards the power line track via Millars Log Road. Once we found the powerlines we followed them south for as long as possible until eventually hit private property when it turned into a shot show as we tried to navigate through forest tracks 🤣

@@halliday9955 the bags only strap down to the bike. They don’t lock on to a luggage rack. So they won’t be secure if you leave your bike for the day. If you park the bike somewhere safe at your workplace then no problem, but if security is a priority then these wouldn’t work.

So what was causing the the problem?
@TheMotoBarista
3 жыл бұрын
The bike’s fuel tank is split in two and each side has its own fuel valve which are supposed to opened by the dealer during the pre-delivery inspection. One of them wasn’t, so the bike was only getting access to half a tank of fuel.
