Great choice for choosing Nagarhole National Park. Imagine if you would have visited this place after the rains, it would have been 10 times magical. With greenery all around. Its dry now.

Nagarhole is a nice park. Haven't been there yet, but you guys should visit Tadoba National Park(preferably Adegaon gate or Junona gate)they have the best tiger sighting chances in all the forests ive been to including pench, kanha, bandhavgarh and jim corbett but Tadoba is indeed my favorite, and the forest is also magical especially during morning safaries in winter. When the forest is also full of green trees and mist in the morning. Please do try to visit it in winters.

congratulations on the sighting!! the chances of seeing them (as per my humble knowledge) is higher during the dry season when prey isnt abundant and the tigers have to actively search for food. after rains when hunting is easy due to abundance of prey, the tigers prefer to stay hidden. nice vlog and you guys dancing in the rain is just what indians do as well 😂 there is an entire music genre dedicated to "rain songs", called saawan. ❤

Before the British arrived in India, there were estimated to be around 40,000 tigers in the country. However, due to hunting, habitat destruction, and other factors, the tiger population declined significantly during British colonial rule. By the time India gained independence in 1947, the tiger population had been reduced to only a few thousand individuals.

@@Thejetlaggers5 but Indian government has done a tremendous job in terms of preserving these animals. its a great news that the population of these majestic creatures has increased significantly over the years. only few people are blessed to see this beautiful animal in the wild. congrats !
