Traditionally, women do better swimming in cold water, so I would have guessed Kim. I just found this online: "women can tolerate cold water better than men due to a tendency toward a higher percentage of body fat and a greater vasoconstrictor response (the narrowing of blood vessels to retain core heat)." I was a swimmer in my youth and the girls were always the first ones to get in the pool in the winter, I guess this is why.

It was Sava river, propper beach is behind your floating house, near a road you have arrived. And there is Sava lake, water is warmer . Anyway, nice video. Have a great time.

Super cool!! We have houseboats in Copenhagen and I've seen them in Amsterdam but this is different. These are literal houses on the water...more like boat-houses. Love it!! 👍⚓

I live in Denmark. Vejle. But I can say after being in Belgrade many many times, their floating Holiday houses, clubs and bars are unique. There are hundreds. There are soooo many around Sava and Donau and also small floating mini houses around Ada medjici. Just unique. 😁🤪👌👍 Look at Google Earth and you'll see.

Yes it's more of a floating house than a houseboat. Very different what they would understand under a houseboat in Amsterdam. Really great experience with the deck/terrace on the water.

Oh yes! If we would live in Belgrade, we would immediately buy such a house boat. Just 20mins of driving from the city center and you are in a paradise where you can swim, relax and have fun.

From what I have read, there are positive ions coming off water that are really good for you. That's why you are instantly relaxed. I would like to try it myself.

What an amazing place to live! I would totally do it. Only in the summer though. I stayed in a boat house in the winter in Amsterdam and that was absolutely miserable.

A little bit sometimes. When there was a boat passing, you could feel it a bit. At night it was very windy and it was like we were gently rocked to sleep.

It was like 25 or 26 for a days. Now it is rainy. But yea, as soon as may hits it is time for t-shirt. This year tho it is a bit shitty weather. Should be like 30 every day.

I'm pretty sure 'houseboats' and 'restaurant barges' are not allowed on Danube river due to 'International Danube River Navigation Laws and Regulations'. You are now on Sava river that allows permits to floating hospitality vessels to operate.

There is a Dolphin floating resort at attabad lake, Hunza, Pakistan … nice people and nice experience. Try visiting Pakistan too especially North Pakistan

Great place, very summer-holiday vibe. Watching everyone walking around without their masks shows what can happen when the public gets vaccinated! Half of the U.S. hasn't learned that lesson, but then complains because they still need to wear a mask.

actually even got vaccinated, should still keep those measures as the vaccine is to have herd immunity and then stopping the uncontrol spread of the virus but not totally preventing individuals from the COVID infections! :)

It's a full apartment that sleeps 4 people, with a kitchen, private parking, etc. We think it's a fair price, especially if you compare it to other house boats in the area. You can definitely find quite a bit cheaper on airbnb though, but this one is very new and modern.

The river is huge :p plus there's a lake near by with a long beach there and the watter is warmer and clean.. I hope they'll check that out ;)

I was wondering the same thing haha. It sounded like it went into some kind of reservoir inside the structure of the house boat, but I have no idea what happens after that. Don't ask questions you don't want to know the answer to 😜😜

Serbia would definitely have laws about stuff like that. There is a place for everything and things are clean no matter how poor. People would not be happy to have that sewage in the river.
