On consoles the availability of game rentals/trials is slim. Want to try out a new game before you spend $70 on it?
You often can not, your best luck is taking the word of a reviewer. The technology is there to offer players timed trials for any AAA release, but most publisher's don't want you to try the games first. Imagine if Cyberpunk 2077 launched with an available demo.
Services like GamePass somewhat aid this but not every game is on the service, and besides first party Xbox games, they never go on day 1. You used to be able to rent a new release game day 1 for only a few bucks, if not get it on a demo disc early.
The technology to offer this is readily available, but I do not think we will see it anytime soon.

I've been making videos on this channel since 2013. A lot has changed since then, but today I make videos for the same reason someone may keep a diary.
It's to track and chronicle the things I am interested in at various points of my life. These videos are something for me to be able to look back on.
So why are you here? Because video games are fun and worth sharing! If that's a journey you want to be a part of, like the video and subscribe to the channel.
