DBK!! I've loved your channel for years BUT you guys should actually go do a bushcraft trip! I know you've addressed this in the past but you keep hearing about it because we really want to see that type of content. Suggestion: Only bring 3 knives and a series of challenges you need to do. (Don't do this in your backyard forest, take a trip) That being said I think you guys are great and DBK reminds me of the guys from Top Gear. They mostly did reviews and are very funny but would from time to time go on advetures and it would make great content! I don't know... am I way off here?

I've got a challenge for you, the only problem is that it might be shit 😬. As I'm sure you know, UK knife laws are extremely restrictive but given the level of knife crime here, they have to be. What about reviewing the best UK legal EDC? It would mean they would all have to be sub 76mm (3 inch) slip joint folders. I know how difficult it is to find a decent, utilitarian working pocket knife within these very strict parameters, but for people over here it would be genuinely useful. The best I could find was the Boker Worldwide +, which within those parameters I think is the best carver, but I would love the see the top 3 destruction tested. Obviously you'd have to be careful though, we all know that slip joints can be very dangerous to the user. Like I say, maybe it’s a shit idea, but it would help us out a lot over here to have some sort of reliable test and review, and who better to do it than the best knife review channel that there is?

BTW, a good and very easy way to test for a "really" sharp knife is simply paper towel. Any knife that can slice through paper towel (like used in a kitchen -- at least in the US. "Bounty," you know) without the slightest tendency to tear is pretty damn sharp.

Elmax is a great steel, relatively easy to work with and super hard - crazy tough stuff, you can literally smack a convex edged elmax blade into a girder and it'll just lose a little sharpness but be undamaged.
