I use the cup, for a few cicles now. And all i have to say is make sure you hear the suction sound when putting it in, #2 do not cut the stem, and 3 when taking it out pull on the stem and pinch the cup to break the suction and pull it out.

I definitely recommend menstrual cups! I also use saalt and there DEFINITELY is a learning curve but once you get it down its life-changing! Also a PSA is that when you're first learning there will be a little pressure bc it is a different shape than a tampon and it personally took me about 3 cycles to get totally confident in using it :) I 100% would suggest them!

I love the menstrual cup, I’ve been using it for more than a year and I still have struggle figuring out if I put it in correctly so don’t worry. It gets easier if your V is wet (you can use water).

The cup is amazing, I don’t know if the saalt cup, I had tried two different ones: the one that is literally the same as the video, and another that I personally loved it, I have used it just one time, and I am really in love with it. They are the Beppy cup. I’m from Chile and I know that here they have this cups, that doesn’t have the topical shape and are way more easy to get use to wear them. The only problem is that they are expensive but totally worth it!

I know I'm super late to this video (it just showed up on my for you page), but as someone who's relatively new to her period (about 2 years now), I personally really like the knix teen stuff. I deeply dislike tampons (I'm aroace and the idea of having something up there just feels...intrusive), and so I prefer pads and stuff. I would recommend buying from Knix Teen, not just Knix, they've got a lot more patterns, absorbancies, and are honestly a lil cheaper. KT also has tons of packs, and so I'd recommend getting one that has some super absorbent ones and some less absorbent ones. I find that on my heaviest flow, the super absorbent ones work, but are kinda...heavy I guess by the end of the day if that makes sense. However, the're amazing for every other day. I like using the less absorbent ones for the days leading up to my period, since, you know, my flow really enjoys surprising me by being 3-8 days early. They're also great for the "I think you're gone but there's still a tiny drop of blood days" end of the cycle days. I don't know if that helped anyone, but oh well.

For reference, I use the menstrual cup and have for about 3 years now. It probably took me 12 full periods to get used to taking it in and out. I only do it in the shower or over the toilet, with quick access to the sink. It isn’t that bad that way.

Speaking as a millenial... Gen Z is on track to completely remove the taboo on talking openly about your period. Bailey is out here live-narrating her experience with all these different products with ZERO awkwardness, and WE LOVE TO SEE IT. I wish I would've had access to a video like this when I first got my period or that I had been exposed to this level of comfort with talking about it! Huge kudos to Bailey and Brooklyn and all these other Gen Z women for openly, honestly, and cheerfully talking about periods in a way that is totally, totally normal. Gen Z for President.

It’s nice to have things to relate to.. but at the same time it’s pretty disgusting and impolite to openly talk about your period like this, and my generation ALWAYS tries to normalize things that shouldn’t be normalized. I’d rather be a baby boomer or gen x, the 80’s seemed nice. K bye.

For me, whenever I put in a cup I find it easier to insert it while standing. And don’t forget that when you are trying to take it out you DON’T just pull the tail! You have to make sure to grip on to the base of the cup and pinch it together to break the suction seal the cup creates inside, it help to squat for this. If you just pull it will not work and you can injure yourself, if you use an IUD for birth control it can cause it to be torn out with the suction. I personally 100% love and prefer a cup compared to pads and tampons. It is extremely comfortable, granted you feel nothing at all. You can wear it pretty much all day with no worries depending on your flow, unlike with pads there is no mess or smell, I don’t have to carry extra stuff around or worry about hiding trash and odor. And in the long run it is way cheaper.

Baily dying from cramps is the most relatable things I've ever seen. We all know that feeling...😬 I honestly feel like tampons would just make my cramps worse, cause I get pretty bad ones, also the thought of sticking chemicles up there just does not sound nice lol, so I'm definitely a pad person, but that's just my preference.

You honestly can’t feel tampons if you put them in right. The chemicals are definitely not the best but they won’t change your cramps at all or anything. I’m not sure what was happening to Bailey lol but that doesn’t happen to most people. It was probably a bad shape for her body but she has other tampons that work for her. You can definitely find a brand that works for you and then it’s super easy. I was really scared to try using tampons at first but now I’m fine with it (no extra cramps or anything) and I actually started using a menstrual cup recently. If you want to try that, you can find an organic one that actually reduces cramps so that could be a good thing to try if you want an alternative to pads that doesn’t hurt and doesn’t have chemicals. It’s hard to use at first but with a little bit of practice, it’s really easy. I would definitely recommend that if you want to try something new:)

I was so afraid of tampons for such a long time and still don't use them. But I found that menstrual cups are great! They seem difficult and weird at first but once you realize that literally nothing can get lost in your vag, it's not as scary anymore. Like you really can not lose it up in there. But it does take a few cycles getting used to putting it in and taking it out, there's definitely a learning curve. I highly recommend them if you ever wanna try out something other than pads. But if using pads is the way you feel most comfortable, then that's totally fine and valid too!
@agustinacastellano5784

I´ve used pads for 8 years because I was scared of other products too. This year I went on vacation to the beach and I used a tampon for the first time. Now I can´t believe I've used pads for that long and I'm planning on transitioning to the menstrual cup. Believe me, it takes one try to leave pads behind.
