Being a Bengali (and having heritage from East Bengal before Division), Shutki Maach is one of my most favorite foods. In childhood, I used to wait eagerly when my mother would make Shutki Mach. It was the greatest delightful home made treat. That was the foundation of eating spicy food in my life, I believe. But when Bhut Jholokia entered my life, it changed my perception of spiciness. There is shop in Delhi/Gurgaon called Monty's Wings who sells only chicken wings. They a have special bhut jholokia version - 8 chicken wings cooked covered in the spiciest chili paste/sauce of India. My friend stopped eating just after 2 pieces and I devoured the 6 wings. OMG! what a experience that was. Orgasmic Pleasure in the form of Demonic pain - that would be the accurate description. I drank 5 cans of beer to save myself from the spice satan, it did neutralize the effect on my tongue after few hours but neither I became drunk nor my inner burning stopped. Even after 1.5 days, when I went to pee, it was burning. Suddenly, after that my spice handling quotient increased manifold - and that's really awesome.

Naga King Chilli and Bhut Jalokia(Ghost pepper) are of different species. Bhut Jalokia is a variant of Naga King Chilli which has lesser Scoville

Ghost pepper, also called Bhoot Jolokia, Naga Chilli, U morok and so on. Different names in different states for that same gut burning yet addictive chilli.

Yehi toh hai Bhut Jolokiya/Naga king chilli ka kamaal. I personally get red faced while consuming it, but love the taste as well. We mix it in a curry or make achar of it. Personally, I think Bhut Jolokiya achar is the tastiest.

Bhutjolokia is the spiciest chilly but has many health benefits. It never burns ur stomach and also doesn't have the next day effect too
