Love your channel, bro! But, I don't know...going from not being a 6 to being half of a 6 with Macca in what seems like a 4-2-3-1 doesn't quite make Ryan a world class 6, IMHO. Can he fill the slot for Slot? Absolutely and he's doing a damn fine job of it. Is he a great player? Sure and we won't be left with a hole back there because we didn't get Zubi thanks to him. Clearly, he's great but I don't think anyone could rightly say that he's done developing...and he will...and he is already shining under Slot and that's nothing but a fact.

Well I largely agree with you, but I'm going to be cautious. But I do recognise those traits that many of our other players don't. You are absolutely right. He is world class but the world have not seen his true greatness yet. The way he works and turn in tight spaces is crazy. Running with the ball is crazy 😊. You are right about what people will say in the comments. Ryan showed signs of his talent last season but without finding any regular rytm and hardly had 3 good games in a row. This season he have been good in all 6 games; consistency needed to be world class though is what Alexis Macca have shown for Brighton, Argentina and Liverpool for 3 years not 6 games. The average fans are allways way to knee jerk. A player have a really good patch, he's the best thing ever and on the flip side a player have a period where notmuch comes off, he is crap or washed. Neither is true. Have Ryan been close to flawless first 6 games? Yes. Have Ryan proven that he can maintain a high buttom level over a full season? No and the mark for world class for me, you keep a consistent level over consecutive seasons not just one.

There are a lot of similarities between the careers of Gravenberch and Kokcu, both tremendous talents that never seem to fully come to fruition. Untill Slot came along that is, who pulled both of them a little rearward because he recognised these players needed to have the play on front of them. Mind though, a six in Slots mind isn't necessarily a six some Liverpool fans think they need.

@@marcusmurphy1481 Sermantics. Saying that he's the best 6 and currently the best 6 are essentially the same thing. Ryan has been fantastic so far this season, but as pointed out it's been against poor competition and is also too small of a sample size to make the claim that he's currently the best 6 in my opinion. It's like saying that a striker is currently the best in the world because they are top scorer after 6 games against what is essentially relegation fodder and very poor Milan and United sides. Not being down on the guy because he's been great, but saying that he's currently the best in the world is hyperbole.

The person who owes the biggest apology is Craig from Anfield Agenda. He shamelessly attacked Jorg Schmadtke for signing Szoboszlai, Endo, Mac Allister, and Gravenberch, all because we missed out on Caicedo and Romeo Lavia. Do you even realize Gravenberch is on £150,000 a week, making him the fifth highest earner at the club? Klopp and Jorg knew exactly how talented he is. It’s time Craig apologize to them first.
