Hi Beverly, I wanted to thank you so much for this video. My wife and I followed your video closely (several times over) and got such great results with our 1st attempt at weaving. It even features on our channel, I added your video to my description as a recommendation for others interested. Thank you again, such a fantastic tutorial!!

Wow, what an easy to follow tutorial! Thank you, in particular for explaining what happens on the bottom, this helped me tremendously as my project was at a complete standstill after the warp being I was so confused about that separate strand. For days I searched videos/tutorials and you were the only one that mentioned it, very helpful, thanks again!

Thank you! I am so glad it was helpful to you. When I learned how to make this style stool, I had the same problem with the look on the bottom of the seat. Fortunately, I had a teacher with me to explain it. So, when I made the video I figured if I had a problem understanding the underside, then others might have the same problem....so I made sure to mention it.

Thank you. I found it very old little child's rocking chair with no seat so I'm going to try something like this to make a new seat for it -it's pretty much square, this will be interesting, it's for a very small child so I think it'll be strong enough thank you.

You will be amazed at how strong the seagrass can be. I have a bench woven with seagrass and sit on it all the time! I would love to see a picture of your project when you get it done.

Thank you for this video. It was so useful for me to learn how to reweave an old stool which I got from my mum when she wa cleaning out their house. It’s lovely to see it back to its former glory. Thank you!

An excellent tutorial Beverly, one I could follow and understand as a I am a novice. Just a quick question Beverly, if my chair seat is not square but is a trapezium shape where the front and rear rails are parallel but but the front rail is longer , how does this affect the weft? Do I now need to add more than two turns around the front rail?
