This video was beautifully done. It's a great break from the straight-shot and narrated instructional videos. Very entertaining to watch unlike so many dry DIY pieces. I'm inspired to loom now.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This is what I have been needing to show my students! A video is so much easier as they never listen or watch me the first time. I will be able to repeatedly show this video until EVERYBODY gets it!

Great tutorial. You taught me what I have been trying to find out. How to start, how to change colors and how to creat boxes without leaving holes in the weave. As a newbie, but a fast learner, this was perfect. Thank you.

I have done this with 4-H kids for years and finally saved time by using pinking shears to cut across each end for the warp rather than cutting each indentation with straight shears. I also have the kids use a plastic fork with hole in it to tie the yarn to for the weft. Then the fork can be used as a beater. It works great.

Good tutorials on weaving. If you want to make a pouch, pocketbook, etc, just keep weaving onto the back and around again, over and over, and you'll have a sweet pouch for glasses, cell phones, and so forth. When I add other colors I tie the knots so there's extra yarn ends to hang down which adds color, texture and character to the product. Have fun!

I.K. Tolbert When you knit you often just hold two strands of yarn (the end of the old and the beginning of the new) together with no knot or anything. I was skeptical at first but none of my sweaters or hats have ever unraveled even a little.
