Today, we're grilling meatballs on the Fire Escape in Brooklyn.
Combine:
1/2 lb ground turkey
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 tablespoon brown mustard
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons of whole milk
A few dashes of hot sauce
Salt and pepper
Form meatballs just slightly smaller than golf balls.
Preheat grill for 10 minutes.
Brush meatballs with olive oil.
Add meatballs to grill leaving space between each meatball.
Grill on medium heat with lid closed.
Rotate meatballs every two minutes to grill all sides.
Remove meatballs from grill after about 6 minutes total.
Insert a toothpick into each meatball.
Serve with your favorite marinara or barbecue sauce.
