This is outstanding! I had been told many times that I "over-rotate" in my medium turns and I never fully understood why that was a bad thing. After watching this video everything is so clear! Huge thanks.

Doesn't the hip stay parallel to the tips of the skies ,feet and knees ?

The hip sockets will align with the ski tips and feet in a rotational sense, as a result of those two pivot points… but that doesn’t mean the pelvis faces the same direction as the ski tips. This is how we create separation, as result of turning in the hip sockets which makes the pelvis and ski tips point in different direction. This video really just clarifies the timing of that separation and rotational alignment, but maybe does make it more complicated than it needs to be by covering it as an in depth movement analysis. Hope this makes sense.
