Thank you for this incredibly helpful video explaining your thinking process behind creating a crate! I've been a Crate Hacker Member for over a year now and this is the video I've been looking for! Thank you again for everything you are doing to help dj's.

Hey Aaron, I think this video, by far is your best yet! THANK YOU for all the knowledge. I had a question during Crate Hackers regarding this video. What are your suggestions with requests when you have a laid-out playlist like this? Do you avoid them, only play them if they fit, or just throw them on? I find at private events like weddings, everything I get in a groove, someone requests something totally different. Thanks for all the great work!

I feel you! This will be one of those perfect world scenario moments where I would have an event and no one would come to give a request. If they do throw me one I find it to be a challenge, but a fun one. I try to play the "how quick can I get back on track?" after the request is played.

I wonder how a wedding list looks around Europe

Scooped 1 or 2 nice ideas from this… never did a wedding where let’s stay together is an opening song. It’s usually a dinner song. Guests are just coming from cocktail hour we usually gotta hit them pretty hard and def grandma style for a good 15-30 minutes and get people on dance floor out the gate up until entrance and first dance

I used crate hackers and it is a time savor however it’s rather expensive for what it does! No offense I could do the same thing with beatsources curated playlists and I can store the files locally! But the Spotify integration is great! Also being from the northeast they crates don’t work in the urban areas

Love this video and thank you! I do have a quick question: looking at a lot of this wedding crate, do you use tracks with DJ friendly intros or the original songs? For example, when I use something like "Dancing Queen" or "I Want It That Way" - for me, it's usually a creative "slam" from a previous track with a nice drop at the end. However, I've been thinking about re-doing my wedding crates to include more DJ friendly tracks which include intros and outros. Definitely signing up for Crate Hackers this weekend as I get prepped for a crazy/busy Fall wedding season. Thank you!

Absolutely. Each one had some custom edit to it in some fashion. 8 bar intros or accapella tools.
