Definitely a misconception of what +EV is… but I enjoyed y’all’s takes. Never going near “those” accounts again haha. Love y’all!

Saw Day 6 for those boys go down to Olave the other night, that was a tough one for their ladder. Juwon Johnson was the play for Saints receivers as Slop called. And Tommy calling that Miami comeback down 20+ the other night was sweet.

Whenever I cash out, it wins. I stopped doing that a while ago. Also, they offer you a cash out a lot of times because they don't want to pay out as much money.... especially DraftKings.

It’s like they know it’s going to hit so they offer the cash out

@@Luvislove983 Absolutely. Whatever AI they have running, is assuming they will lose more by not offering the cash out.

I'm pretty sure they're just expected value simulations and then they take a percentage off of that. Let's say you have 1 leg left on your parlay and it's Garrett Wilson 100+ rec for sunday night. There's no odds for that currently but let's say it's +500 and let's further say that you're parlay was originally $20 to win $10,000. You can reverse engineer it from there. What bet size would you have to make to win $10K on a +500 bet. The answer is $2,000. So the fair cash-out should be $2K. You have a 1 in 5 chance of hitting that bet, so you're expected value payout should be $2K, but they will ALWAYS offer less than your expected value payout. Usually significantly less. You know what it's comparable too? Ever watch the show Deal or no Deal? Same concept applies for when the "banker" offers a payout to the contestant. You can accurately calculate exactly what your payout should be based on the expected value if you play the game a million times (or any random large number) from that point but they always offer less than that number. In other words, the cash out offer is probabilistically always bad to take.

Bases ladders 🪜 and RBI ladders are the way to go. A lot of times the 2rbi market pays more than the homerun market
