I am also in the Tri-Cities area, mainly working in Kingsport. I greatly appreciate your efforts here and your contribution to our industry. A big thanks to you!!

10:11 I found that on article 600.5a the outlet shall be supplied by a branch circuit rated at least 20 amperes , so It ment (120v )(20A) = 2400 VA ?

I may not be understanding what you're saying correctly, around that time marker is 180va per yoke? Or you talking about sign Outlets? Let me know so I can help further!

15:54. 220.14 (H) States it shall be calculated in accordance with (H)(1) or (H)(2) instead of (H)(1) and (H)(2) as you put it. Did I miss something? Edit: I understand what I did not now. The way appliance is used and the way it was worded in the question confused me. Thank you. Really enjoying!

As far as the yoke question goes...in practicality, would you not work with the voltage and number of yokes to determine the breaker/ conductor size, etc first. Seems you cannot determine current before you determine the E/I solved. Am I right or not seeing this from the correct angle?

In minute 14:39 shouldn't the answer be 5000VA instead?
@ElectricalCodeCoach
4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the comment! If you look closely there are 2x 25-ft sections so when you add those together you'll have 50 ft multiplied by 200 which is going to give you 10,000 VA's.Hope this helps! If there's anything I can do to help you in life for business please let me know.
