Salcombe is one of the most beautiful harbours in the UK. The headland from Bolt Head to Bolt Tail is breath taking. Of course it is not always this busy, but good weather is rare in these parts and people make the most of it! Salcombe has a high percentage of holiday / second homes and these people want to enjoy the water also. Its the usual story that a few badly operated boats give the rest a bad name! Lovely video Nick and Marianne.

Hi Nick and Marianne. The trip looked amazing, great weather, good fun, relaxation. Any boating is good. The chaos near the end almost had a collision, pure madness. No rules of the road or competent seamanship. So happy to see you out on the water. Carry on Skipper. 🛥👨✈️😎

Yep. I owe some Brits an apology over this. When I got to go to Australia on business, I razzed them about how they should have left the convicts in England and moved the upstanding citizens to Oz. My bad... Of course, it was merely a joke, and Australia was a *very* different place then.

Hi Nick, don't really. know if you will get to read this, man I just can't tell you with words the impact that you have make on me :) discovered your channel maybe 6 months back I would say, haven't give a damm about boats before, never been interested, never have any will to do anything with boating since my life turns around aircrafts and aviation, and guess what, here I am seated in front of tv watching a video of a man from England talking so enthusiasticly about boats and boating that I had to watch another one, and another one, and another one.... and you know? being an aviator for a long time I am about to seat my Skipper ( I think it is called like this in English ) exam. Can you believe it? and I can say, all this interest on boats and boating and " things like that" begin watching accidentally one of your videos, what can I say...
