:02 seconds in and I have to say that is fabulous!! Seriously that is great, I wish they had something like this when I still had kids at home. When ever I sold any old equipment, I put that into an account for my kids that I couldn't touch so neither could the collections department It put the ones who wanted school in college and the ones who didn't had to wait till they were twenty one or had a life threatening experience .. I never got that from my dad and Iost mom when I was about nine. That is a great idea

Best KZitem channel out there without a doubt. Congrats on getting over 1000 subscribers. I have been wanting to get into the scrapping full time but really don't know where to start. Just sick of working for someone else rather work for myself that way I can work as much as I need to or have to

Thank you very much for the kind words! Dont be afraid to start working for your self. I've been scrapping since I was 16 and it pays good if your single and no kids. But if or when you grow a family you will need to broaden your line of work..... and honestly if you have a truck and good people skills you will dominate the competition. Thank you again.

the best way to start scrapping is to just do it. find a yard and just take in what ever you can. constantly be on the lookout for metal. the more people know your looking the more you'll get. don't be afraid to have people see you picking up metal. I've already been climbing in dumpsters when neighbors come running up asking if I want what ever they have as well. my answer is there's always room for more money. no matter how full I am.

These videos are going to cost you $25,000. Doesn't matter what "the guy" told you. It is your responsibility to put guages on it and see if it's empty before releasing freon into the atmosphere. I have a feeling you don't know how to evacuate the freon yourself and this happens alot. I'd suggest getting a vacuum and learning or setting aside $25k for a rainy day because you're going to need it.
@1320LUV
4 жыл бұрын
You're right I dont know how to evacuate them, I say in multiple videos that my friend who does appliance repair takes care of the units that are questionable. If you took your car to get a oil change would you inspect the oil and filter to ensure that it was infact changed?
@bluejene2146
4 жыл бұрын
@@1320LUV I sure as hell wouldn't dump the old oil all over the environment I'd put it in a container and recycle it as per the law. There is a law that specifically says if you deal with HVAC units for a living you MUST be 100% CERTAIN they are EMPTY BEFORE breaking copper and releasing refrigerant. You'll understand soon enough the proper agencies have been notified.
@1320LUV
4 жыл бұрын
@@bluejene2146 I didnt say anything about dumping oil. I was making the point that if a shop says they changed your oil you take their word just like I did with the old unit. Go to your local scrap yards on a rainy day and look at all the rainbow colored water all over the ground from different types of oils. Helping to clean up all that contaminated runoff will be more beneficial to the earth rather than watching youtube for minor accidents

@@1320LUV The fine for releasing refrigerant into the atmosphere can be a fine up to $27,500 per day per violation.
