That definitely seems like the trend with many KZitemrs, But for what it’s currently going for I definitely don’t see myself having one anytime soon. Thanks for watching!

I just picked up my first Leica camera, the M6. I paid for it with no money out-of-pocket by cashing out my credit card points points. 💰💰💰🤑🤑

Re: loading the M6... it is much easier than the cameras before it... one nice design detail is that there is a mechanism on the base plate to automatically align the film when the camera is closed. Don't overthink it. kzitem.info/news/bejne/w4Rv0oechKGnrY4

Note: The classic M6's light meter is not easy to repair. The parts are no longer made. There is talk that Leica is working on a replacement light meter but nothing solid yet.

It would be great if that happened. In my 35mm cameras I definitely prefer having a functional light meter.

I loved the video! And congratulations for 1,000 subs!! I'm in love for this camera, really want to find a budget option that is small and easy to carry around, even if it is not so great in quality. I have a Canonet QL19 and it's nice to take to places, but I don't like the fact that i can't swap lenses

That means alot! Glad you enjoyed the video. Honestly currently looking for the same. For a light and easy carry with an interchangeable lens.

Hey guys i need you help. I've had my M6 since 2015. since then it's never serviced for CLA. Now i'm having issue. After firing 15-16 frames the film stops advancing. Weird thing is it happens randomly not with every roll. Anybody ever encountered this issue? thanks in advance.

Leica is a 2:3 ratio 35mm camera. Why are your images a different, more boxy shape?

Thanks for sharing your Leica M6 weekend experience with us. For years, I have been using the M6 with 21/35/90mm lenses. Before the Leica, I used Argus, Minolta, Canon, and Contax rangefinders. The Leica is my personal favorite 35mm rangefinder.

Got to hit the zone lad. enjoyable video I like to watch new people using them it's the best 35mm camera body ever a few years and finger just knows which way to go when you focus. They are expensive but work in any conditions I feel guilty using mine knowing it would feed a family somewhere else for a few months

@@adammissedfocus zone focus you could nail focus with bad vision, it might look like a blur to you. But it will be pin-sharp in reality. You have to create a little separation also 35 mm scans are terrible. You need to get them drum-scanned if not darkroom printed, then scanned. The sharpness and detail are why you shoot that apparatus, it's just an apparatus.

Try the Canon Canonette G17 III. It does everything you like with the Leica for way less money and less weight. The only to cons are that you can’t change the lenses and it lacks a red dot.

The Canonet is a toy camera compared to the camera that actually stands toe to toe with the Leica: The Canon VT Deluxe.
