Here's this week's interaction with our clients.
#CBA
Q: While completing the assessment, is it okay if I have worked only for one company during all five years? Is it Mandatory to have more than one company in the experience chart?
A: Associations did not require a specific number of companies for the CBA; instead, they required that applicants have a minimum of 48 months of professional engineering experience. So, there should be no problem with having one company as long as you are able to write examples from your experience that will best demonstrate the 34 competencies.

Q: There was no one with a P.E or P.Eng in my first workplace, can they consider this completely invalid? Or can they say they accept half of it?
A: If you are unable to find professional registrants to validate each of your 34 competencies, please consult with your regulator. Your validator can be your supervisor who shares the same or related discipline of practice that you are applying for. Consider whom you report to or who signs off on your work when listing validators.
