INGREDIENTS:
4 boneless chicken breasts, about 6 oz each
Kosher salt
Olive oil spray
¾ tsp garlic powder
¾ tsp onion powder
½ tsp dried parsley
½ tsp smoked paprika
1/8 cayenne pepper
DIRECTIONS:
1. POUND the chicken to make both sides leveled out for even cook.
2. FILL a large bowl with 6 cups of lukewarm water and add ¼ cup kosher salt.
3. ADD the chicken breasts to the water and refrigerate at least 1 to 1.5 hours to brine.
4. REMOVE from water, pat dry and discard the water.
5. COMBINE ¾ teaspoon salt with the remaining spices in a small bowl.
6. SPRAY the chicken with oil and rub all over, then rub the spice mix over the chicken.
7. REHEAT the air fryer to 380°F.
8. PLACE the chicken on the greased baking sheet and cook, turning halfway until browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
