The official June 27th Weekly San Juan River Fly Fishing Report from the guides of Fisheads San Juan River Lodge, as reported by Stephen Souva, Fly Fishing Guide:
End-of-June fishing has been great for everyone in the family. We're concluding the month with an ant fall, which marks the beginning of dry fly season. In the mornings, leeches and nymphing remain productive. Midge patterns in gray, olive, chocolate, and lighter colors such as cream continue to work well. Despite cloudy afternoons, baetis patterns in gray and chocolate, in sizes 22 and 24, continue to be effective. To learn more about our all-inclusive packages, visit our website.
