I've been in maintenance mode for almost 7 months now. I haven't gained but I haven't lost either. Im enjoying life without killing myself going hard in the gym or being on a super restricted diet. It's ok Ashley we have seasons where things stall. We're human.

As someone who has similar slumps and been overweight my whole life struggling to lose weight/emotional eating...this vlog means the world to me...thank you for truly being relatable!!! I have similar hectic work weeks, messy apartment, falling off healthy diet, disorganized slumps so to see you go through it makes me feel a little less alone. We will get through this together

The discomfort of dealing with emotions is absolutely how I feel but not with eating, another habit of choice and it’s been a year without it and just learning even what the feels that I’m feeling are. I know it’s tough but we are better for it every day 🎉

Oh wow, I've never seen someone use the inner pot on the stove like that. You can just use the Instantpot's "sauté" feature - no transferring needed. 😊

I’ve hit a plateau as well. Been stuck at 212 for a while but I’m happy I’m no longer 231!! I’m in need of a reset myself so I’m thinking about doing another 30 day raw vegan challenge next month (exception Thanksgiving) just to reset my palette. Hoping to be 200 by Jan 1st!! 💛

Great video Ashley. Sometimes being on the grind all the time can wear us down. So it is normal that you have ups and downs. It's okay and I love all the stuff you do to pick yourself back up and get back at it. :) I need to do the "make myself look good to feel good". I work from home so I'm always bumming but if I just take some time to get myself together I will probably be more productive. LOL.

Girl you did it! Honestly I love working out so much but nothing feels as mentally fulfilling as running (to me). I ran my first 10k last Sunday and kinda teared a bit at the finish line. If you ever told me when that I’d be able to run for that long when I first started my journey in 2018 I’d laugh. Honestly I feel like I’ve been up and down the whole year and now that there’s 2 months left I feel like I haven’t achieved much of my goals. I want to really be on my grind. I’m proud of you for picking yourself up and even recognizing that you need to take care of yourself ❤ The sense of community that comes with group classes or workouts is unmatched. It helps me so much mentally. My weekly boxing classes are non-negotiable, it also helps that I’ve made friends with the people that go there and instructors. So if I don’t come for a while they’re like “girl where you at?” 😂 Also I’m definitely stealing that banded stretch! It looks like it’d be a good hip opener. You’ll have to tell us how you like Fourth Wing, I’ve heard soooo many good things about that book. I’m saving that and a Little Life for my month long vacation in December

Fyi, you can saute right in your insta pot. There is an option for that. I wouldn’t want you to ruin your pot on your stove top.
