Nice selection, Roy. I love Parasite. We had a bit of a mad one this week film wise, for us anyway. We watched Battle Royale, Zombie for Sale, Phil Tippet's Mad God, Candyman (1992), Night Tide and Housekeeping.

A good week of watches. Glad you have now seen 10 Rillington Place. Other Judy Geeson films I’m fond of include Brannigan with John Wayne and Richard Attenborough, and Doomwatch. Agree the clumsy, arms and legs flailing fight in Bridget Jones’ Diary is very funny. I definitely want to see Cottage to Let…..and I forgot to mention in my Robert Hamer video that George Cole is in The Spider and the Fly. Only a small role as the police chief’s assistant but he has a couple of scenes. I really hope that film gets a restoration and issue.

Thanks Neil, when I was recording I knew I could rely on your good self for some recommendations. Cottage to Let is available on KZitem if you want to try before you buy. It amazes me sometimes what films are on there.

Hi Roy, loved Parasite, in the extras they showed that the film makers used a fair amount of CGI which surprised me. I completely agree with you Roy, never feel guilty about films you enjoy 🧐 a very mixed bag of genres this week mate, nice to change things up 👌nice one Roy, take care👍😃👍

Hello Alan you surprise me too with the cgi exposure. I'll have to chuck on the features and have a look 👀 👌 I do like most genres and 9 times out of 10 I'll go to the shelves with a film in mind and end up watching something completely different 😀 Thanks 👍 mate.

Hi Roy, My youngest son who is 17 has a fantastic taste in movies, he actually bought Parasite for me and demanded i watch it, been in my watch pile for about a year lol, should watch it. Lonely are the brave is fantastic, only watched it once on tv, will try and grab that one. Again only watched Cottage to let once and i enjoyed it, If you like those type of films have you seen one called The day went well, Fantastic film that's a lot like The Eagle has landed.

Parasite is a fantastic movie from a great director. I must admit we are watching more and more Asian cinema these days - particularly horror films. We watched Death Whisperer on Netflix last night, a Thai horror that we thoroughly enjoyed. Great vid as always Roy!

Thanks for the kind words. I too have been watching a lot of Asian stuff. Unfortunately I got rid of Netflix after the last increase so that one will pass me by.

Hey Roy, I also really quite enjoyed Two Rode Together, Stewart and Widmark are great. A very interesting Western though a bit odd tonally I thought, but it seemed to work well. A shame you aren't a fan of Age of Ultron, I often like to defend that movie, but the truth is I just love James Spader 😂 I always think his menacing air is so great. I've never seen Bridget Jones Diary, but that fight scene sounds hilarious, so I might have to track it down!

Hello Warren. I think I've watched up to Eternals with the MCU so I decided at the start of the year to run through the lot of them. Ultron has been staring me in the face for a couple of months now and been a hurdle to get over. Bridget Jones is well worth a watch in my opinion. Yes it's a fantastic fight. The pair of them getting leathered and apologising for inconveniencing people has me in bits.

Ah yes I know the feeling when you're trying to run through a series and one particular film stops you dead in your tracks! You've endured and powered through it now at least 😄 I'm not sure if you've seen it, but it reminds me of The Other Guys where they have a fight at a funeral, but everyone is whispering because they don't want to cause a scene, and Michael Keaton does this shout whisper which is absolute comedy gold. Definitely recommend it if you enjoy those Will Ferrell comedies, if for nothing else then that genius scene.
