I know this was 3 years ago, but do you remember what scope and mount combination you had on the rifle?

Nikko Stirling and standard ring mounds you get with the scope , I’m about to upload another video very soon with another 99s I had for my birthday 9 days ago , with similar mount and scope ,, thanks Shane

Good shooting. I have 3 weihrauch Springers, i bought my 14 year old son a .177 hw99s last year, a great light weight sub 12fpe rifle ideal for the British market, a bit noisy but hey its a £200 gun which prefers h&n field target trophy pellets to any other. Unfortunately i have come to the conclusion that the hw99s is the only spring rifle British shooters really need, it is also not hold sensitive & incredibly accurate.. now i wish i never bought the hw97th or the hw98 because this little beauty is just as efficient.

I've got one with a spring guide and lube tune it's beautiful. I can't believe such a great trigger can be had for such a modest price. Love the open sights I've had a rabbit at 40 yards with them.

Well done Shane. All but one flyer well within a 5p piece, and that wind was very gusty. I have a set of electric clippers on stand by for you. They pluck as well as cut.

Love mine..Ive had it 2 years now,Always been very accurate but the twang was a bit annoying as Weihrauch hardly put any lube in them..I fitted a TBT guide set to it & its really nice now,No twang at all (because of the tight fitting top hat & rear guide) Its turned a really great gun into a fantastic little rifle..Ive also owned 3 other Weihrauchs,A HW 35,a HW77 (tuned) & a HW95k...The little 99s shoots as well or even better than the rest for a lot less money..Tbt kit only costs about £25 as well so I would highly recommend one if you have a twanger.

Apologies for my very late reply, only just discovered this message , yes will consider a tuning kit when I have shot a couple of thousand pellets through the gun , good idea , and I missed out on a tuned 77 wish I had bought it now , but in the nr future plan on a new 97 , maybe a new tuned one from Sandwell field sports ,, thanks Shane , take care buddy

How do you find the HW in 177 calibre : a lot insist its not has good has the HW99 / which I own but been thinking to purchase it in. 177 Cheers 🍻

The thing about .177 springers is they generally come with a stronger spring fitted (needed to produce the same energy as a .22) so the firing cycle is that bit harsher and louder. The advantage is the .177 pellets are going that much faster. The .22 will feel a bit smoother shooting straight out of the box. It's also possible to do some tuning to improve the shot cycle regardless of calibre. HW50 is basically the same gun as the HW99, I believe they are both available in .177, prefer the bigger pellets myself.
