As a Chinese,I have never heard those kind of news. I just searched some,I found there were some information about them, and the more you studied, the more complicated you will find. For example,the “virgin” one. That is happened in 2005, there was a village that wants to distribute lands only to the people is living and will be living in that village. So some girls from the village who is about to marry are not qualified to get land because they are considered not to live in the village in the future. The question is there are some girls do have boyfriends but they are angry at the rules and they argued that they are still not married and they should still be considered as a member of this village, what’s more, they are not sure to marry to other village yet. Those girls and village committees cannot agree with each other around the qualification of the land distribution especially when they talked about the possibility of marrying and leaving the village in the near future. Because the standard is very hard to decide, finally the village committee agreed that only ‘ virgin girls’ with boyfriends are qualified to get lands.

@@jiji7250 Childless Hundred Days (百日无孩) is a campaign of mass forced abortions in Shen County and Guan County in Shandong, China. The campaign started on 1 May 1991 and ended on 10 August 1991. It was designed to reduce local population growth, under the national One-child policy. The campaign was initiated by the local Party Committee Secretary Zeng Zhaoqi (曾昭起) and Bai Zhigang (白志刚).[1] During the campaign, local officials were asked to perform forced abortions on any pregnant woman in these areas regardless of pregnancy terms or whether the unborn child is the first child of the family. The policy led to mass panic and dramatic reduction of the local population in 1991.

Do “Walt Disney’s Gummi Bears” and please put me in the credits. The Gummi Bears of Gummi Glen are the last of a once great race of Gummis. Regarded by many as a fairytale they are gentle, loveable creatures who want to live in harmony with mankind - but sometimes it's not easy. * A group of reclusive humanoid bears and a few trusted humans explore their lost heritage and prevent their enemies from exploiting it. * Long ago, there was a thriving civilization of small humanoid bears called Gummi Bears. Possessing powerful magic and advanced technology, this race coexisted with humans until the growing rivalry forced the Gummies to flee across the sea, leaving only a small caretaker colony to prepare for a possible return. However, generations passed and the colony forgot their purpose even as human knowledge of the race faded into mere legend. All that changes when the colony meets a boy with a Gummi Bear medallion which unlocks the Great Book of Gummi which reveals lost knowledge of their past. Now the colony has dedicated themselves to the new goal to rediscover their heritage with the help of a few trusted humans while preventing new enemies like Duke Igthorn from exploiting that heritage to their own ends. It is a Medieval Animated Shows set in Medieval Times and animated and televised by Walt Disney. It aired from 1985 to 1991

I met a few people from China in college, playing MMO's and only a few of them have eaten dog. They were also super poor. One person specifically told me he was super poor, his family barely got by, and he came home to a big feast. His dog "went missing" but later on his parents admitted to feeding him his dog, they told him after he ate to make sure he was well fed. Apparently it tastes like chewy chicken. Sad story
@BYFR05T

Sad story and a bit racist right? Since it is forbidden to eat a dog in China and it is a bit racist to encompass all the inhabitants of a country who do this while eating a dog only ethnic minorities do it (although they are being restricted)

I must also recall that poverty exists all over the world, not because China they are all poor, you go to a rich city in the United States and you have a lot of poor people living in slums in the suburbs of the city and I also tell you it is the second power that creates more millionaires.

@@theq1621 It is true it is not bad and it is done by ethnic groups from Korea (in general not only from the south), Vietnam...... And it is a matter of tradition is like saying that Arabs do not eat pork since it is a religious and traditional issue and we should not criticize for it.

@@Lavasparked Depends on where you're from. There are dog farms... I can't imagine ever eating dogs, but that's not a good reason to not eat dogs. Certain cultures never grew up with dogs as pets. If I see a dog eater in the States, I'm gonna make sure this guy goes to jail, but if I see some folks eating dogs in Asia, I'm gonna just assume it's part of their culture.

These are all true.This video remind me of those kidnapped and chained women in China. By the way, I live in Shenzhen and I've been not allowed to get out of my appartment for 10 days because of the zero-covid policy. Because of this policy, I have developed the habit of hoarding food at home. So I I don't worry about myself at all. But I am extremly afraid that I will be infected, because then my cat will be beaten to death by government personnel, no matter how I would fight for the life of my cat. There are so many inhuman things like those happening in China every minute. In many people's hearts there is nothing but an continuous and deep fear.

Even in America you don't actually own the land either. Legally all land is state owed or federally owned. Even the land I "own" is not truly my land. The government can legally take it, with the right reason, but still just take it none the less. This is true for most countries and not really seen as weird, it's how a country works. Those that normally have an issue with this stems from their lack of understanding why they pay land tax.

4:12 .. In Canada three are MANY properties with this exact ownership style, only 49 or 99 year leases are most common,. Also most people even in Canada don't know it's RARE for a property to have mineral rights, if you find oil or gold on your property it belongs toy the crown,. SOME properties DO have mineral rights, however it will be WELL advertised in the sales advert, if it DOSEN'T say mineral rights included, you can bet the are not. And last, some properties do not even include Forestry rights, you are literal not allowed to cut trees down ... they are property of the crown. One tree is particularly centered out the " Eastern White Pine" very few properties allow harvesting of this tree .. They are owned by the British/Canadian Royal Navy, Originally reserved for Ship's masts, now the law remains in place to protect this majestic tree! :)

@6:32 When you said that 70 to 80% think it's "totally acceptable," did you mean to say "totally unacceptable?" Because unless you meant to say the latter, you've contradicted the claim you made immediately before that. Also, after that, was the "23,000 cigarettes per year" figure for the government officials combined or for individuals? Because that comes out to 60+ cigarettes per day for an individual.
