Taylor restores my faith in the younger generation. Unrivaled knowledge for a 23 year old, in terms of bovine, equipment, agriculture technical knowledge, not to mention rebuilding a '74 Ford 150. Great persistence, work ethic, discipline and dedication in trying to achieve her passion and goals. Highly admirable...great respect for her. Go Taylor!

Another nice video! My father was an old-time farmer and often had some very good advice. One of these nuggets was always cut the backswath last. This is the area of the field where you are most likely to hit a hidden obstruction such as a tree branch, etc. and damage the mower. This way if you damage the mo/co at least virtullay all of the field has been mowed and the hay can start to dry while you fix the machine.

Nice pickup I had a 1972 F100 2 wheel drive for a little while. When you watch over your right shoulder so you do not hit a fawn with the cutter you cannot see your left front, it is not the best but is what you need to do. I have seen fawns, baby raccoons and others animals never a canoe. The first trip around cutting is the worst for little ones but if mama told the fawns to freeze they will not move even when you get up by them. Nice job cutting, I may have hit the rock again if it was not dug out. Hope you get the International fixed soon. Stay safe and healthy Tay.

Weirdest thing we found in a hay field was 6 naked hippies!🤣They had a house on the other side of the stonewall, and there was some woods along the wall, so one night after milking the guy I worked for went over there to mow some hay and as he was going around he saw some movement but thought it was deer. He said as the patch got smaller he could see them in the grass, finally they had nowhere to hide and streaked out and over the wall!

very good video. Maybe the canoe was a harbinger of things to come. You might have to use it to do the farming with all the rain you are getting. But loved the haying. I always had the job of raking with a Ford 8N. Always raked in 2nd gear as we had alot of woodchucks in the field. If we went too fast we would risk of breaking something on the tractor or rake. We never had a tether to use . Mowed raked and square baled the hay. Loved that time of year. Have a great day and God Bless

I am not sure, but I am starting to wonder if you aren't my wife's younger sister. She bought a '72 F-100 when we were dating, she hated my '72 K-20 Chevy because it didn't have enough interior room(Which I agree on for her since she is 6'1" tall and those cabs are smaller), the Ford looked great in the pictures I seen. It showed up and was on 35's with a suspension lift. Was chopping haylage and she wanted to take me out to the field in it. I am 6'0" tall and went to try to get up in it, and thought I was scaling a mountain and everyone was laughing at me. I said what in the world do you want this for. Same reply, "Because its AWESOME!" Oh boy, what did I get into here......... Ordered a new 2 door Bronco and got it late last fall, same thing, will never go off road expect in a field road to get equipment and she gets huge tires on it. That is about the same, I need a crane to get in it, I asked her how she liked her new car, and should have knew better........."It's so AWESOME!"
