We all had a crew as teens but when you reach between the ages of 18 to 25 you have to split from the crew you were raised around as teens. The running in packs drag you down especially when everyone is only inspiring to be rappers and street dudes. The day you split and move is the day your life will get better just ask any mature man over 30.

I live here in Blytheville. We all can only do so much. I steadily try and do what I can, but I’m only one person. There are so many good people here, they’re just too scared to step out of their comfort zone, because the drugs, guns and violence out weigh the good. I am far from being at the poverty level, but I live where the norm is to hear gunshots almost every day/night. If everyone who was able to help would just try, without the fear that keeps them rooted, Blytheville could make a comeback. In the last 14 years the crime and drugs have gotten worse. I will continue to help where I can, with hopes that with some small acts of kindness the children around here know someone cares and they are enough. Prayers for the people of Blytheville. Because only we can make it better together.

Ain’t nothin gonna change with my former classmate in the governor’s office, she has no love for her state at all. She wouldn’t stop in Blytheville to asses funding needs or anything. It’s not a shocker when things like churches and small community organizations & businesses actually hold the town together. You have to lift each other up just like up north a bit in dog town. So so so much love to this project and the folks you’re talking to. This is America. It don’t look the same everywhere and that’s the whole damn point y’all. WPS
