My situation- beacons.ai/natehills
After last week's episode in the desolate alpine, we continue our 12K descent deep into the jungle of Bolivia. Gone are the cobles and dust, replaced by slippery round rocks and high moisture levels. This basically looks like a completely different trail and is perhaps why this descent is my all-time favorite. Variety, spice of life.

My camera gear eventually gave in to the moisture, but I did manage to capture the jungle vibe pretty well. We descended for roughly another hour in the rain and made it out just before darkness settled in. I have been very fortunate to experience many different trails around the world, and El Choro sticks out in my memory the most. Best of times with Carston Oliver, Joey Schusler, Thomas Woodson, and Jubert Guachalla. If you can ever make it to La Paz, this one is a once in a lifetime experience. #followcamfriday certified.
