Thank you for posting this! I have a small gaggle of 3 African and had decided to increase the size a bit. I ried incubating their eggs, but that wa a bust. It's my first year incubating, so I was thrilled to get the chicken eggs to hatch out, but I had no luck with goose eggs. Humidity, the incubator's heater went wonky, there were problems. I got two African goslings from Metzer, I hadn't ordered from them before, so I was thrilled to find that the squeakers had been sent along with the gro-gel, like yours. That's a nice touch. Mine are 3 weeks old, have more than doubled in size (it's amazing how fast they grow!). It's been 5 years since I raised geese, so I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing. These babies are very different from the first 5, and I'm scrambling to keep up with them! Thank you for showing that I'm not crazy - it's the geese that are crazy. They do eat just about everything excapt for their feed. Grass, flowers, seeds, ...

Thanks for asking! Unfortunately a predator got one of them early on. But the other five have been doing great!

What kind of food did you feed the baby geese

Unmedicated chick starter. Waterfowl should never have medicated chick starter, as it's toxic to them.
