In this episode we take another look at the Everlast 325EXT TIG welder. In the first episode ( • Welding Thin Wall Stai... ) we tested the low end of the machine on DC. In this episode, we put this machine through the ringer and see how it performs at its high end on some super heavy Aluminum bar stock.
We performed 3 welds:
Bead on Plate (3/8" Aluminum) - To see how the machines cleaning action worked.
3/8" Lap Joint - We did this part cold to see how the machine performed on a cold part.
1.5" Bar Stock to 3/8" Plate Fillet: We did this to really test the high end of the machines output.
